*Davenport members- there is a sign up in the entryway for serving treats after Wednesday evening worship!
*Davenport members- we are beginning to discuss updating the basement fellowship hall. If you have any ideas, suggestions or comments, please let a council member know!
*Mark your calendar for Community Days- Kindred August 11-13 and Davenport September 16
*DLC will be hosting a rummage sale and bake sale during Davenport Days. More info to follow.
**EaND Synod Fall Youth Retreats We are excited to host the Eastern North Dakota's Fall Youth retreat this September 22-24 at the Castaway Club. The retreat is geared for students in grades 6-10. For those older than grade 10, we invite you to check out the work crew options. The deadline for registration is next Friday the 28th so that we can get everyone's information in order. I know all of the youth loved going to the event last year and they won't want to miss it this year! The church will be sponsoring $100 of each youth sign-up cost so the cost is $59 per youth. Please send checks and the two completed forms to Norman Lutheran Church. Volunteer Leaders costs will be fully funded.
*Mark your calendars- The third annual Norman-Davenport Table Fest has been scheduled for Saturday, October 28. If you would like to host a table, contact Nancy Ebens or Elaine Swenson. More details to come.
*Newsletter Opt Out- If you would like to opt out of receiving the paper newsletter by mail, please send us an opt-out message to ndparishnews@gmail.com (No action needed if you would like to have newsletter by mail.)
*Kindred Food Pantry is in need of donations! They are looking for items such as canned chicken or tuna, peanut butter, jelly, snack items for kids, packets of oatmeal, cereal, pancake mix, and canned fruit. You can bring the items to church or directly to the food pantry at Kindred Lutheran Church.
