ANNOUNCEMENTS-                                                                                                                                                                      December Worship- Norman 9:00am & Davenport 11:00am. All are welcome to either service time!  Sunday School class during Worship time at both churches.

TODAY- Santa Claus is coming to Davenport! 1-3pm at the Senior Citizens Center (in the Davenport Fire Hall) This event is for everyone…young and old and in-between. You are invited for cookies, treats, hot chocolate, and hot coffee as you socialize with others and enjoy the Christmas Spirit.                                                         T

ODAY- Christmas tree lighting, skating, hot cocoa, and caroling in downtown Kindred across from Hawk’s Market. 3-5pm

*DUE TODAY- KAMA Christmas Community Food Basket items needed. Each church is asked to provide 20 boxes of mac-n-cheese and 10 cans of fruit cocktail. There is a box in the entryway at either church. Thank you!

*Blue Christmas Worship Service Wednesday, December 18th at Kindred Lutheran Church at 7:00pm.  Come early for a time of quiet reflection and meditative piano music beginning at 6:30pm This special service is a time for all seeking comfort and connection, especially those navigating grief, loss, or challenges during the holiday season. You are not alone. Together, we’ll light a candle of hope.

*Fun Parish winter events could you help sponsor? Please contact Pastor Katie Gingerbread Manger Scene Event- $125 Sleigh Rides & Cider Event- $100 per hour – 6 hours needed. Skating & Pizza at The Lights in West Fargo- $500

*Norman Members- you may find a form in the entryway to sign up for automated giving. Any questions please see Sarah Baumgarten, Norman Treasurer.

*WALK IN FAITH- Walk in Faith allows us to walk alongside and help each other in the community. December collections- New men’s & women’s gloves, Cash donations for gas cards to fill up their tanks. Basket in entryway at the churches.

* The Kindred Area Food Pantry- NEW Items needed at this time- Accepting donations of food, new or gently used men’s socks and gloves in XL sizes, personal hygiene products and dish or laundry soap.  All donations can be dropped off at Kindred Lutheran Church Monday - Thursday 9am-4pm. Any questions please call Leah at 428-3630. You can also use Venmo…. @kindredfoodpantry.

*Viking Village- is looking for stocking items- small flashlights, chapstick/lip balm, water bottles, socks, candy canes, chocolate, gift cards, NeeDoh products, hand lotions. Items for the Kindred food pantry- Canned soup, chili, shelf stable items. You can drop off these items at Tree Lighting.                                                                       

There are many Outreach opportunities for our members and community… Please go to ndparish.net to learn more of ways you can help our fellow members and people in our communities. There are lend a hand up accounts, Walk in Faith, Viking Village and meal trains opportunities.
